Can I trade my Apple Watch for a newer series if I’m still making monthly payments?

I recently financed my Apple Watch series 8. However, the series 9 just released and was wondering if I can trade my series 8 for the 9 if I’m still paying off my series 8?

Apple Watch Series 3, watchOS 6
