Apple TV spinning wheel of desth

It seems when my ISP speed drops below roughly 50-100 MPs, I get the spinning wheel of death on my Apple TV. It doesn't seem to happen when the speed is above 100 or so. (We're paying for 300 but the service isn't very consistent.). We get long stretches where there are no problems and then it we get a stretches where the speed sags and we get problems

We do power cycle the Apple TV and it comes back but we get spinning wheel of death after a few minutes when the speed is low.

yes, I've power cycled my modem and wifi router but that doesn't help. I've had the modem and wifi checked out and nothing wrong according to the ISP and wifi manufacturer

The Apple TV is connected wirelessly.

Hi CA-Wind-Rider,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. You've done an excellent job with the troubleshooting steps that were performed. Our recommendation is to forget the Wi-Fi network on your Apple TV and then log back into your Wi-Fi and see if that helps improve the Wi-Fi connection to your Apple TV. Here are the step, go to Settings > Network > Wi-Fi. Select your current Wi-Fi network and click Forget Network. Press Menu or the Back button on your Apple TV Remote. Then select Network again and select your Wi-Fi network to connect.

Following these steps may help and we look forward to hearing back from you with an update.

Kind regards.
