regarding iphone trade in

Hi,

is possible to buy an iPhone 15 pro max in Boston with the option trade in a old one (13 pro max) and bring the old one 2-3 days later after coping/transferring the data to the new one in New Yorker Apple Store?

No, it is not possible to buy an iPhone 15 Pro Max in Boston with the option to trade in an old one (iPhone 13 Pro Max) and bring the old one 2-3 days later after copying/transferring the data to the new one in New York City.

Apple's trade-in program requires that you trade in your old device at the time of purchase. This is because Apple inspects your old device to determine its trade-in value.

Last time - 2 years ago - we did the trade-in in New York and returned back the old iPhones after 2 days to the same store. There was no problem at all with that. My question was - it’s possible to buy in one store and return the trade-in item in another store/state. We will travel around of the USA
