Need troubleshooting for printing shipping labels using the iMac 24" M1 chip, Shipstation app and Rollo thermal printers does not work correctly.

I need help getting 4 x 6 shipping labels to print correctly. I have exhausted calls to Shipstation and Rollo printer customer service.

I connected our recent purchases of two of the newer iMac 24" M1 chip to both the wired Rollo and the newer wireless Rollo printer. Both printers will either print a tiny shipping label on a single 4 x 6 label and advance a second label or print the bottom half of a shipping label only and advance a second label. The settings on Shipstationconnect app is set to 4 x 6 label. I have removed the printers and re-added them on the iMac's. On Shipstation app, the correct Rollo printer (wired/wireless) the label is sent to is selected. The older iMac 27" will print the bottom half of a shipping label and advance a second label to the wireless Rollo.

Our other older Macbook Pros and Macbook Airs will print labels correctly with the wired Rollo.

Hi there- I see your post is over a month old, but this may help others searching for a solution.

My Rollo printer worked fine for a long time, then I intermediately had issues for the past month. One time, the simple change from switching Chrome to Safari worked. Then all of a sudden, it didn't. ShipStation was absolutely no help as they "do no offer service for Rollo printers."

This is what I did:

  1. Deleted the existing Rollo driver.
  2. Deleted Shipstation Connect app.
  3. Made sure the OS system software was current.
  4. Restarted.
  5. Downloaded and reinstalled the latest Rollo driver.
  6. Downloaded and reinstalled the latest ShipStation Connect.
  7. Click on ShipStation Connect printer set-up and choose the appropritae printer for labels.

This finally worked. I had tried several times to reinstall the driver and Shipstation Connect, but I would still have issues. It wasn't until I did these exact steps that it started to work decently. So, I hope this corrects the problem long-term... so far so good.

Good luck!
