Unwanted pre flagged Junk mail
Thanks to a post from Colt I finally got this resolved after many years of frustration. In Mail, Settings, under the General tab, make sure the " when searching for mail, look through " trash and junk are not checked.
I have sent so many feedback reports to Apple on this, and have spent so many countless hours trying to fix this, reinstalling the OS numerous times, looking for a third party email client, and hating on Apple for this. I am glad I found the solution. Thanks Colt!
