Late 2019 MacBook Pro, crashes, won't update or reload OS...

Hi Folks: I have a late 2019 Intel MacBook Pro, i9 CPU, 1TB, 16GB.. Now I getting crashes, kernel panics... It will not update the OS, nor allow me to reload the current OS, Ventura 13.5. I've tried the obvious stuff, running First Aid, yet the problem remains. Sometimes it emits a buzz and reboots... Any ideas of what to try, my 3 year warranty expires next March 2024... ?

I run MS Office, BM Resolve Studio, and various Photo and video editing apps. Recently, I get errors opening older Word or PPT files... MS Office crashes too. Looking for any suggestions of the next step.

Should I wipe the SSD and try to reinstall the OS?

Hey Folks, an update:

I nuked the drive, back to ground zero, and after two hours of rebuilding, with a clean system, I still cannot reload the OS or upgrade to a newer OS revision. The errors are the same, likely a HW failure.

Looks like my $2750 investment in a MacBook Pro is toast... I'm not a happy camper. Also I find what I thought was a three year warranty, isn't.. it's two years and "bye".

I'm really ******, and frustrated. So, should I spend up to $1500 for a new mother board (or???) or risk $3500 on a new MacBook Pro?

Aargh!
