Macbook is not locked when lid is closed and opened with iPad connected as a display.
I have a MacBook Air 15" and I use my iPad Pro 13" M1 as a second screen using Sidecar. Both are updated to their latest OS version (macOS Ventura 13.5.2 (22G91) & iPadOS 16.6.1(20G81)) but I noticed the following behavior on early versions as well.
When I close the MacBook, the screen turns off and my iPad disconnects as expected. But when I open it, my iPad reconnects and my MacBook turns back on unlocked and with all my apps open, just as it was before I closed it.
If my iPad is not connected or I lock the MacBook using the power button, it locks and I have to use Touch ID to unlock it.
I won't remember to click the power button or disconnect my iPad every time I close the lid and I do not want anyone to have free access to what is on my computer. I want my MacBook to lock when it is closed whether or not my iPad is connected. Is there a fix?
Thanks
