Relative to which type App might be affected, articles indicate pathways.

Not all are the same. ~ So unless you specify, results & actions may vary.

Delete 'built-in' Apple apps from your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch - Apple Support

Delete files or recover deleted files in the Files app on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

//support.apple.com/en-us/HT213095

"When you delete files from iCloud Drive or On My [device] in the Files

app, they go into your Recently Deleted. ~ After 30 days, your files are

permanently deleted. Files deleted from Recently Deleted are deleted

immediately and are not recoverable."

[If you delete files from iCloud Drive on one device, iCloud Drive removes

the files from every device that you're signed in to with the same Apple ID.

Data may be recoverable - depending on which pathway - took it where.

On face of this, seems fairly straight-forward; too many missing details.

Perhaps some of this might be useful; or not.
