Compatibility of iMac and Samsung M8 Monitor - Strange Yellow Tint via HDMI/USBC Connection

Hello guys,

I tried to set up a connection between the Samsung M8 monitor and Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020 iMac. I got this strange display defect on the monitor. When I connect them via HDMI/USBC, under various different settings, including both colour profile on iMac and internal display settings on the monitor, there seem to be areas with yellow tints for some white contents on the M8 monitor. It normally appears on the top centre. As I tried from different angles, it disappeared or moved. At first, I thought it might be some defectal design/reflection issues on the monitor screen. But when I tried to use screen monitoring from iMac, this M8 monitor worked perfectly with correct white balance and no yellow tints from any angle.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? Not sure what I did wrong in the settings.

I appreciate your help and time.
