What does blue dot in inbox mean? (old post closed)
I don understand that the blue dot means the email hasn't been read. However, on my Mac (Ventura 13.5.2) I have a blue dot next to and email I have physically opened and read. I did read on the old post that you have to open the Sent email if I actually sent it, which doesn't make sense, but I went to my iPhone Sent box and opened that eMail. So, with iPhone email sent box opened and Mac Mail inbox opened (and no longer highlighted as not read) I still have a blue dot next to the email. What am I missing?
UPDATE: I tried marking the email read and the blue dot finally went away. Still curious why once I opened the email and read it the blue dot stayed until I actually marked it read.
