Custom sound/alarm recognition and custom automation

On iPhone ios 16.1 i created a custom sound (custom alarm sound) and it completed the "training" .

I would like to use the custom sound in a custom automation:

When "sound recognition"= "custom alarm" then execute "an emergency call"

but in the list of the sounds it doesn't show the custom alarm sound (while it is present under "settings-accessibility-sound recognition-sounds"

Any suggestion ?

Thank you

iPhone SE, iOS 16

Hi Gmag67,

Thanks for connecting with Apple Support Communities. We'd like to assist you with getting your automation working as intended:

  • Restart your iPhone. This may seem like a simple step to take but can often resolve several issues:

  1. "Press and hold the side button until the power-off slider appears.

""

2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.

3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo."

  • Update your iPhone. Completing this step ensures that your device has the latest fixes and can help resolve software related issues. (Secure your data with a backup before proceeding)

We hope this helps.

Take care.
