Pages Documents Stored on OneDrive - No Prior Versions?
I'm noticing that several Pages documents stored on OneDrive are "missing" prior versions?
When trying File/Revert To I'm getting a "No prior versions" message.
Is this known issue?
Do you have any Pages documents stored on OneDrive that exhibit version information via Revert To > Browse All Versions — while still stored there, and is this Pages v13.1 on Monterey or Ventura?
My understanding of OneDrive is that anything copied/written to it is automatically encrypted by Microsoft and though you may save a Pages document there, Pages wouldn't know how to dynamically reverse the Microsoft encryption to update version information. You would have to retrieve the document via the OneDrive application to unencrypt it and then Pages could update version information on the local drive.
When I installed Microsoft Office Home and Business 2021 for Mac, it was a custom installation purposely without OneDrive application, and I never use OneDrive in the Microsoft applications. I keep Pages documents on either my local drive or iCloud where they were designed to work and produce versions.
