Using Zoom on a new Macbook Air, M2, 16 GB, Ventura 16.5.2

I am having difficulty downloading Zoom onto my new Macbook Air (M2, 16 GB, Ventura 16.5.2.) (I have used Zoom for years on my old mac, which has an intel processor.) I cannot get an answer from Zoom as I can only do chatbox techsupport, which is of course of no help. I have spoken with an Apple Tech Support person twice, and the best explanation I have received so far is that Zoom will not work on my new Macbook Air, because Zoom itself has not been updated yet, so Zoom is not compatible with M2, and Zoom has not yet developed software so that it can be used on an M2 computer. Has anyone else had this difficulty, and is there a workaround so that I can use Zoom successfully on my new Macbook Air? Thanks in advance!

I too use Zoom on my M2 MacBook Air, and it was having issues earlier. I uninstalled Zoom, because I migrated from an Intel based Mac. Download Zoom from the actual website and it should work fine.
