How to insert row below without automatically including images within this row?

Inserting row automatically duplicates image in cell(s) if neighbouring cell(s) directly above contains image(s). I need help to

① remove image from these cells of inserted row.

② Inserting row without image duplication. According to following link, deleting cell should work but not in my case; image is still there after I clicked on 🗑 in Cell Removing Image from Numbers Cell - Apple Community Images in cells are 'format,' not 'data.' To remove 'data' from a cell, you can click on the cell to select it, then press delete to delete it.

Hi Sunny,

I suspect your expectation is due to a misreading of my entry in the 'following link'.

Images in cells in Numbers tables are 'Image Fill.'

Image Fill is not "Data".

Like "Colour Fill" or "no fill," "Image Fill" is "Format."

"Format" is automatically copied to cells in an inserted row or column of cells, and can be 'deleted' only by selecting the cell or cells, then changing the cells Format to 'No Fill' (or by changing the Format to another type of Fill.

Barry

Thanks. No Fill is under Preset option of Cell Fill.

However, a “No Fill” variant for Row Addition helps just like Text in a cell is not duplicated automatically.

My use case is my image is block of text. I thought inserting image is easier than copy text from image and then apply formatting to fit paragraph into cell. This doesn’t turn out easier if I need to add rows above/below this cell.
