Keyboard numeric pad doesn't work

I just setup a new Mac Studio with a Magic Keyboard. It is paired, but the numeric keyboard does nothing. The rest of the keyboard is fine. There is no setting for this anywhere. What to do?

Magic Keyboard with 10 key produces only mouse movements, not numbers My Mac studio extended keyboard is stuck in some mode that only produces mouse movements, not numbers and I can't find a setting to change it back.

magic keyboard not working properly after 2.0.6 update Since the firmware update 2.0.6 on my magic keyboard connected to my Mac Mini, it does not work properly in some applications (word and Acclivity accounting). Space bar does not work, tab does not work, numeric keypad does not work. Has anyone else had this trouble?

Thanks. It just started working. I didn't do anything. I don't know why.. This stuff is magic....
