help! I turned iCloud Photos on because I was trying to save storage I selected the optimizer storage option but when I go into the storage section on settings turns photos takes up more space when iCloud photos is turned on abt 56GB when turned off vs 120GB WHEN TURNED ON 😨

The amount of storage your device is using will depend on the amount of data that is on it. If you turn iCloud Photos on and it uses more space on your iPhone, check to ensure the upload has finished by opening the Photos app > Library. If it's waiting to upload or the upload has paused, you'll see this at the bottom of the screen.
