MacBook Air Second Monitor

Hi Folks, I have and intel MBA and have noticed something odd. I have had trouble with over heating mainly when watching video in safari. However ive noticed that if I run a second monitor and play video on that monitor it stays within normal temp 75-80c if I switch back to the MBA screen it gradually jumps to 100c. Im considering an upgrade to m2 anyways but would like to keep this one for a back up. thoughts??

View Safari's RAM Consumption in the Activity Monitor:

As for the message, it is telling you that an application or file or sorts is consuming lost of RAM. So, view the Activity Monitor, seeing what is consuming the most of it, and close whatever it may be. Report if there is a major difference in RAM consumption in Safari, when or when not this Monitor is plugged in.
