MacBook Air Battery Drop

I'm new to the Mac Ecosystem. Today my Macbook Air suddenly crashed. Initial use still looks fine. However, after I "slept" it suddenly couldn't be turned on. Even before "sleeping" the battery was still around above 30%. Is this condition okay? Or do I have to take it to a service center. Please help. Thank you in advance.
