I have all my photos on an external hard drive and would like to get these onto my icloud for backup. is this possible?
I have a macbook air and as i'm uploading the files / folders they are appearing on my computer in the icloud folder. Now my storage is completely full and i can't do any work.
How do i remove these from my computer, without removing them from the icloud...

I have plenty of iCloud storage, however as the images are also being stored in the iCloud folder on my Mac the computer is running out of space / storage… so I’m wanting to keep them only in the cloud not on the computer … is that possible ?
