I have turned iMessages off and waited a while and turned it back on. I have tried to chat with Apple...yeah, right...I have rebooted my phone ...Don't know what else to do...Oh, and I have updated my phone... Thanks for any help provided!

If you press and hold on the spacebar on your iPhone keyboard, all the letters will disappear from the keyboard and, as long as you don't raise your finger off the screen, you can move it around the keyboard and it works like a trackpad. It's very cool and will allow you to position the insertion point wherever you need to.

Spoke to Apple technician who said others have had same problem, and an update to, hopefully, rectify it will be available tomorrow. We shall see...thanks!
Well, I'm glad you got an answer from Support as your question wasn't clear to me. However, I would point out that, depending on the cause of your particular problem, updating iOS may not fix it. If so, post back with more details.
Nothing from Support yet. Here's the problem: Just say I type the word BOYS and I meant BOY...I can't use the X backspace to delete the S. I don't know how to use the space bar as a trackpad. However, when a technician could see my problem, she had me press the space bar...maybe that's what she was checking. Whatever, it did not solve my problem. I will update when I hear something from Support.
If my text is longer than the screen I can no longer get back to the text above the screen to edit it before I send. As soon as I place the curser on any of the upper text, the curser drops back to the lower text. If I try to use the space bar it only scrolls up to a certain height and won’t let me go further. What I going on Apple?
What happens when you try? How are you trying to edit the message? Are you pressing and holding the space bar so that the keyboard becomes a trackpad?

Once you get familiar with it, it's pretty fast.
