Trying to download firmware so phone can connect to tv
Can’t find the information to download firmware so my adapter will connect my iPhone to tv.

iOS is a closed operating system. You can't just download software to an iPhone, like you can to a computer. You'll need to see if the manufacturer of whatever this adapter is has an App in the App Store which lets the adapter work with an iPhone. And for that, you need to reach out to them directly for help with their product.
