Apple TV "video not available" message

Tried pretty much everything — restarting, reinstalling, unplugging cables... no luck. But then I hit upon this article. Their top suggestion? Simply turn off HDMI CEC, and boom, it worked for me!

If the behavior is continuing, then check for a software update to the Fire TV Stick to help isolate the behavior. To do so, check out the following steps from Amazon: Update the Software on Your Fire TV

1. Go to Settings  on your Fire TV.

2. Select My Fire TV or Device & Software.

3. Select About.

4. Select Check for System Update.
