Has anyone noticed that after the update to IOS 17, the ability to have custom text or notification tones have disappeared?
I am not bothered about the stock tones by Apple, and loved having the option to have custom tones. This seems a step backwards for users

With the contacts who had previously been assigned custom text tones I still have the option to select the custom ones (haven’t tried to change one yet because I don’t want to lose the option) but if a contact does not currently have a custom text tone assigned the only options are the Apple ones.
You need to update to iOS 17.1. The problem ha been resolved.

I could hear that one. I'm partially deaf and I had to use something that was loud enough for me to hear.

My text tones have also disappeared my favourite one
I did the update and now I’m stuck with the custom ringtone or built in alarm tunes, I hate it because I used to have a song from my iTunes playlist as an alarm and now I can’t
My text tones have disappeared the best ones I had on my phone cannot understand it
Why take off the tones we have had for a long time? I had the barking dogs for incoming text and it is gone and WHY???
