Anytime I restart my computer or unplug a drive and plug it back in, the "Ignore ownership on this volume" option becomes unchecked. This happens on multiple external drives. How can I make it so the option stays permanently checked? I am using the latest Ventura 13.5.2. I don't believe I had this issue in previous Mac OS versions.

It's a bug introduced a while back. I get the same thing in Sonoma on APFS drives.
It's been reported to Apple on their bug site, but has yet to be fixed. Which is rather annoying since it's been quite a few months since the first report.
Has anybody got a solution to this problem?
What format are the external drives? APFS, exFAT, etc??
All the external drives are Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
