What to do: If you can't redeem your Apple Gift Card or App Store & iTunes Gift Card - Apple Support
says:
"If you can't read the code on the back of your card because it's scratched or damaged, contact Apple Support."
Also:
You might need to provide:
(NB: see at the bottom the above article: "Find your serial number" and illustrations.
The serial number is not the same thing as the code that begins with "X" that you use to redeem the card.
I have a iTunes gift card of $500 that I purchased and been trying to redeem myself and it is not working due to incomplete codes please I really need help because it is just a 13digit codes instead of 16 digit code
