Clip duration for multiple selected clips in Final Cut Pro for iPad?

Hi all, I’m trying to use FCP for iPad to take a few hundred RAW photos and create a Timelapse video. However I’m not seeing a way to either change all of the clip durations at once for each photo from the default of 10 seconds, or to create a compound clip and then change the clip speed. I know how to do this on FCP on the desktop, but is it not possible on the iPad yet?

Really trying to avoid needing to select every single photo clip and change the duration one at a time. Like I said, I have 467 clips to do this for. Tips or workarounds?

I'm not sure it is possible to bulk change the duration of photos on the Final Cut Pro for iPad timeline directly, but a workaround would be:

Place all the clips on the timeline

Export that timeline to Files in a high quality codec like ProRes

Import that file you just exported back into FCP for iPad, place it on a timeline and adjust the speed of the clip to get the effect you want

Export that in the format you want for delivery

For Mac FCP it's

Highlight all the pics in the timeline.

Hit Control D (control key and letter d)

Type in how long you want the pics to be.

If you want them to be 2seconds type 2. (2 period) then hit enter.

Alternatively, you can change the import duration in FCP's preferences under editing.

Not sure about FCP on iPad.
