Numerous phantom flagged emails appearing after updating to iOS 17 on iPhone

After updating to IOS 17 I now have a massive amount of phantom flagged emails which a not visable in any of the folders i have within my Icloud Account. I have asked siri to read any unread messages and have done a number of suggested ways to clear but still shows 422 flagged emails but their are none in the flagged folder
