Unable to use FaceTime on Apple TV 4K

appleTV 4k (A1842) NO facetime

I updated to TVos17 but there is no facetime icon. Documentation shows Facetime compatible with Apple TV 4k first generation. Why is mine not working? What can I do?

FaceTime is only available on ATV (2nd Gen) and above 😩
