Can I use my Series 3 Apple Watch with iOS 17?

i use my series 3 watch with my iphone mini 12 (ios16) and it works fine. If i update the iphone to ios17

does it still work?

Apple Watch series 9 compatible with iPhone SE with iOS17 ? I have a iPhone SE (2ndGeneration) with iOS17, can I use it with the new Apple Watch series 9 ? The only information I see is "Apple Watch Series 9 require iPhone Xs or later with iOS 17 or later." I think iPhone SE 2nd generation is posterior to iPhone Xs, but I'm not sure. Can anyone help? I only paired the watch, I think the settings are in the iCloud, i transfered the hole iPhone Backup to the new phone
