Apple Maps not Letting me Zoom and Rotate in iOS 17

After installing iOS 17 Apple Maps isn’t letting me rotate and zoom in when I’m navigating to a location. Actually, to be more precise, sometimes it’s letting me and sometimes it isn’t. This is particularly frustrating when I’m getting to head out and am trying to reorient the map so that I can figure out which street it’s asking me to go down.

why are iOS Maps now blurry when view in 2D or 3D? I use the iOS maps a lot on both my iPad & iPhone & enjoy being able to zoom in & look at the 2D & 3D views but have notice the last couple of times I have used it the view is blurry no matter where I am searching & no longer has the sharpness that it had previously. Why is this & what has changed? It is the same on both my iPad & iPhone both of which are current in terms of software updates.

Maps automatically zooms in during CarPlay navigation When using CarPlay navigation, Apple Maps automatically zooms in to the maximum zoom level. I can zoom out two levels to have everything as expected, but zooming out a third step does not work: after a few seconds the zoom level goes back to maximum. This works well on other devices, only my iPhone is doing that. Amy ideas? Andreas
