Version's Plans:

Find the plan of Verizon's site. See what it reads. If stopped at a store, then dial their condone number, and see what your option are, compatible vey speaking.

Mistype on my part: dial their corporate number. But, having not stopped at a store, then this would not apply. So, did you speak with anyone at Verizon over-the-phone? They are not out there to scam you; it's probably just not part of a promotion.

It's a matter of word games: Forget the word "promotion". Let's stick with the word "plan". So, that's the way Verizon has their plan set up. See what your options are for a plan on your new iPhone.
