Why is my Apple Watch vibrating but not showing the red notification icon even though my Iphone is locked?

I have updated both Apple Watch to WatchOS 10 and Iphone 14 Pro to IOS17. After the software updated, the red notification icon didn't appear except vibration and sound even with the Iphone is locked.

Watch: Notification received but no vibration Hi! I recently bought an iPhone 15 pro which I paired with my apple Watch series 8. I had it previously paired with an iPhone 11. Since then, notifications are not always leading to the watch vibrating. I do receive the notification (the red dot is there) but no vibration. I tried unpairing and pairing it back, hard reboot phone and watch but to no avail. What could be wrong? It is quite annoying if I may say, since l'm no longer able to tell when a notification arrives.

iPhone notifications when locked not working when I wear my watch My iPhone doesn't make any sound (even when ringer is on) or doesn't even light up when I receive notifications when locked whenever I wear my watch. When I don't wear my watch or hasn't unlocked it yet upon wearing, it works just fine.
