You can’t. The fundamental purpose of the Recovery Key is to prevent exactly what you are here seeking; a password reset. Either the Apple ID and password and a trusted device, or the recovery key, are required. Without one or the other of that, no reset.

The whole point of enabling a recovery key is to prevent password changes without that recovery key.
