how to get Memoji back after update

after iOS 17 update my Memoji are gone

I'm also missing the toolbar above the keyboard. I can click the emoji button, but there is no way to access the memojis or use the toolbar to send a photo in a text.

Memoji I realize this is an old problem to most. Just notice Memoji are gone off phone 12. I have the most recent update. I looked at some of the past suggestions but they don’t work for me. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Would be appreciated.
