Email signing certificate on iPad not showing up

I have an email signing certificate issued by a 3rd party provider. It is installed and working correctly on both my Mac and iPhone. Used the same process as on the iPhone to install on iPad but the cert does not show up in iCloud mail configuration as it did on the iPhone. I have the profile installed including both the intermediate and root certificates with my sign cert showing valid in the profile. It just does not show up in security signing and encryption section of the iCloud email configuration on the iPad. Any thoughts?

For help with using email certificates on the device you may try reaching out to the email provider for guidance. They can be in the best position to help out.


When using certificates be sure to also ensure the date and time are set accurately at Settings > General > Date & Time, as errors may result if that's not configured correctly.
