On friday September 15th I ordered an iPhone 15 pro max for "in-store" pickup on September 22th, but as of today (September 20th) apple has not yet charged me.
Has anybody experienced a similar situation?

You'll be charged when you pick up the phone. If you had ordered it to be shipped to you, you would have been charged as orders being delivered to people's homes are preparing to ship at this point.
