Terminal's 'softwareupdate -l' command shows fewer updates then the App Store update page

I was looking at some terminal commands and came across the 'softwareupdate' command and wanted to test it out.

When I ran the line:

softwareupdate -l

The complete list returned with only a single item:

Software Update found the following new or updated software:
* Label: ProVideoFormats-2.2.7
        Title: Pro Video Formats, Version: 2.2.7, Size: 9693KiB, Recommended: YES,

When I go to the App Store and look at the update page, I see three apps that can be updated.

My question is, why is there this discrepancy with the command? Is there a way I can get all of these updated via the command line? From what I have seen online, this should be able to check and update the apps found in the App Store, so I am not sure why there is a difference between the two lists.

third party updates are not coming from the Apple CDN (Content Delivery Network.)

I would do what works.
