Upgrade from Final Cut Pro 10.6.5 to 10.6.6

Hello, I am on macOS Monterey (version 12.5.1) and when I go to the App Store to upgrade to the latest version of Final Cut Pro 10.6.6, I don't have Update next to the app but just Open. Someone can tell me why? Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello Luis,

I thought my version was enough to update. When I go to About this Mac and software updates - updates available, I actually find Final Cut Pro / Final Cut Pro X Supplemental Content. Is that the update?

And yes, I am planning to make a copy before updating to the latest version of Final Cut Pro. I am in between projects. So that is a good moment to do it.

First, move the current version you have to the trash but don't empty it. Go to the App Store. Log in to your account with the Apple ID used to purchase the application. Go to your Purchased page and find the application listed there. It should have a cloud download button. When you try to download it will ask if you want the last available version for your OS, which is not the current release of the software.
