The new airdrop feature won’t work after I updated my phone

I updated my phone today and tried the new feature of “bringing devices together” and it didn’t work!

is there any advice?

iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 17

thanks for answering

I have updated iPhone 11 Pro max with the latest version.

also I have already enabled the "Bringing Devices Together" in the settings.

I tried the content and contact sharing and the both didn’t work.

Sharing content with AirDrop by holding two iPhones together requires iPhone 11 or later (excluding iPhone SE) with iOS 17 (or later, when applicable) on both devices. If no content is selected, the iPhones will exchange contact information using NameDrop. If you are already contacts, NameDrop will not be initiated -- and with no content selected, nothing will happen.


If you have selected content to share, and holding the top of the iPhones near each other does not work, make sure you have "Bringing Devices Together" enabled in Settings > General > AirDrop.


Sharing content over AirDrop still requires the devices to be near each other for the entirety of the transfer – sharing AirDrop content over the internet is coming later this year.
