Do iPadOs 17 have any issues 7th Generation iPad

Someone, anyone, please help. If you have updated to iPadOs 17 on a 6th or 7th generation iPad can you please tell me your experience? Is it usable or unstable? Laggy? Buggy? Glitchy? Noticeable battery drain? Is it better? Smoother? Better battery? Either way please let me know your experience as I’m torn between updating or not because I do not want to risk bricking my iPad.
