one AirPod is not working

my left AirPod is not working. I connect them to my iPhone and it shows that the right one is at 95% and the case is at 91% but nothing shows up for the left one nor will any audio play from it. i tried resetting them but that did not work

iPhone 11, iOS 16

We'd love to help you out with your AirPods, and it sounds like you've already taken some great troubleshooting steps. If you have followed all of the steps outlined below, it may be time to check into service options for your AirPods.


"If there's no sound in one AirPod


  1. Make sure that your charging case is fully charged.
  2. Place both AirPods in your charging case and let them charge for 30 seconds.
  3. Open the charging case near your iPhone or iPad.
  4. Check the charge status on your iPhone or iPad to make sure that each AirPod is charging .
  5. Put both AirPods in your ears.
  6. Play audio to test both AirPods.
  7. If an AirPod still isn't working, reset your AirPods or contact Apple Support."
