Black Screen
I have an IPod Nano 7th Gen and can’t get it going. All charged up and tried rebooting several times but still nothing. Won’t show device in ITunes. Any good suggestions?

Hello avilla52,
Welcome to Apple Support Communities. Does your iPod has any sign of life? Are you able to turn it on? How could you know that it is fully charged if the screen is black, and it won't show up in iTunes on your computer?
To get started, please complete the steps here: If your iPod won't turn on or seems frozen
We hope this information is useful. Kind regards.

I charged the IPod for 7 hours and tried everything. Fully charged
i ended up taking it to a local tech shop and they said it was a dead battery. They wanted $139 to fix.
I’ll buy a new device for $60 and call it a day.
Thank You,
Alex
