MacBook wakes and goes back to sleep continually

As the title suggests, my 2021 M1 MBP won’t stay asleep. When the Mac is on, I have no issues. It never turns off on me. The problem is that when I close the lid, it won’t stay in sleep. It’ll keep waking up, sitting at the Lock Screen, and going to sleep due to inactivity. It’s like something is triggering it to wake. Also, something that might be an important detail, this started happening at the same time the keyboard stopped working. The trackpad and keyboard aren’t responsive at all, but the Touch Bar and Touch ID both work (looking at other people’s questions, it looks like it might be a particular wire that isn’t functioning properly). So I’m wondering if this is a software bug, or if this might be a hardware issue potentially associated with the keyboard/trackpad not working.

We have five Macs that do that ... it's by design.

They all wake and sleep at "odd" times all day and night because of vibrations on the desk or activity on the network.

You can adjust the sleep times, but not sensitivity. If the network is a problem you can turn wake on network activity off in system settings/preferences.

You can also turn sleep off if you wish.

Malfunctioning trackpad and mouse are likely different problems than sleep related ones.

What wire are you talking about? Macs have LOTS of wires.

You can have Apple perform a free diagnostics at any store if you wish.
