iPad has no “lock/unlock” option

So I bought my iPad literally 2 days ago, and it doesn’t have the “lock/unlock” feature at all! It’s updated. There isn’t even a option/button when I go to brightness in settings. What should I do?

Is there a way to keep the lock screen image on? Currently the lock screen goes to black after only displaying the lock screen image a few seconds. Why does my iPad Lock Screen turn off so quickly? Mini IPad 10. I have tried Settings>Display and Brightness>Auto-lock. I've tried setting the tine to 15 minutes and also to Never. But the lock screen still only stays on less than 10 seconds. Furthermore, although I didn't turn off the Lock/Unlock feature, now it isn't working, even though it's still On. Please help. It may help if you provide more description of what you are looking for. The automatic lock time setting is shown in your screenshot near the bottom as "Auto-Lock."
