What should I do if I can't log in with my Apple ID after restoring backup data?

After updating my iPhone 11 on iOS 17.0.1, I did factory reset my iPhone. But after recovering my backup data, I can not log in with my apple id. When I try to log in, it shows TOO MANY CODES SENT but I do not get any code on my cellphone number. I always factory reset my iPhone after a big update. I have not faced this problem before. Now what's the solution? I can not log in with my apple id, and can not download any app. This is disappointing.

Do you have a trusted device? If so you can get the code through it…


If you can’t receive a verification code on your trusted devices automatically, you can get one from Settings, even if your device is offline:


  1. Go to Settings > [your name].
  2. Tap Password & Security > Get Verification Code.



But if you don’t have a trusted device and If you can’t sign in, or receive verification codes, you can request account recovery to regain access to your account. Account recovery might take a few days or longer, depending on the specific account information you can provide to verify your identity.

Hey everyone I found a fix that may have people relieved that don’t take 7 days to fix so here’s how to do it.

first download Apple TV on another device or your Xbox or PlayStation and make sure it’s not signed in next you want to sign in and make sure to send a text to your phone.

next you want to exit Apple TV without typing the code in as you will need it for logging into your phone. Then you just want to log in and use that code to sign in and boom you can now use your Apple ID again. Hope this helps

I got a solution

Turnoff your phone for 20-25 days

It will be resolved automatically

It happened to me

I wasn’t able to create new ID

I wasn’t able to recover my account

I wasn’t able to login due to this too many codes error


I tried finding a lot of solutions but nothing worked

I even called apple a lot but they failed to fix my issue

Then i did this and got my issue resolved today
