Hey, I’m thinking of purchasing a singular homepod 2 mainly for listening to music. I really enjoy sub bass in music, around 20hz-50hz. I was just wondering if the HomePod 2 could produce those low frequencies. I am also wondering if the HomePod 2 could shake walls from its bass, I live in an apartment and I’m not trying to annoy my neighbours 😂. Thanks

I don’t believe it shakes the walls. I’m in a house though. You would not want to put it near walls anyways. For example; no wall mounts. It’s a heavy item and could also pose a dangerous tipping hazard. A fireplace mantle is too close to a wall also. It should be about 6” away from walls for optimum sound. The surface it’s on also matters. Real, denser wood will provide more bass. So yes it does have bass and there’s a setting to “reduce bass”
I have two of these and they do not have as much bass as the original HomePods but much more than the minis. Depends on the music played though. If it’s Hip Hop, it’s good bass. If it’s old music from the 70’s, not so much. I listen to all types.
