If your iPhone XS is disabled and it's showing a message that says "wait for 3 hours" even after waiting for an extended period of time, it's possible that there's an issue with the device settings. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this problem:

  1. Force Restart: If waiting doesn't work, try performing a force restart on your iPhone XS. Here's how to do it:
    1. Quickly press and release the Volume Up button.
    2. Quickly press and release the Volume Down button.
    3. Press and hold the Side (or Power) button until you see the Apple logo. Release the button, and your iPhone will restart.
  2. Connect to iTunes (or Finder on macOS Catalina and later):
    1. Connect your iPhone to a computer using a USB cable.
    2. Open iTunes (or Finder).
    3. If iTunes/Finder recognizes your device, follow the on-screen prompts to restore your iPhone. This will erase all data on your device, but it should remove the disabled state.
    4. If iTunes/Finder doesn't recognize your iPhone, you may need to put your device into recovery mode. Refer to Apple's official support page for your specific device model and iOS version for instructions on how to do this.
