Clock won’t show while on the phone

Not only do my weather complications not work. When I’m on the phone. My clock on my watch does not show up. It shows my phone. Went to settings and that function is turned off. The clock is set to always return to clock. This is a new problem just started on day 2 after updating What a horrible update.

Ensure both your Apple Watch and paired iPhone are fully updated, since updates recently released:
- Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
- Update your Apple Watch - Apple Support
If they are updated, restart them both to see if fresh connections help:
- Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
- Restart Apple Watch - Apple Support
If those steps don't help, unpair your Apple Watch and set it up again:
- Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support
- Set up your Apple Watch - Apple Support
