Is there a way to hide the silent mode icon that’s at the top left of the screen?
I have always had my phones on silent and it bugs me now that I have the silent mode icon in top of screen now that I’ve upgraded.
It would be much appreciate if the ability to hide the icon in the future became a thing. Been very happy with my iphones over the years.

You can let Apple know your thoughts on the matter here:
I wouldn't expect much though as people have been bugging Apple to add this feature for years. Seems unlikely that they would turn around and remove it. And, Apple is not fond of cluttering the interface with lots of options.

Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Show in Status Bar OFF
Glad there’s an option for hiding this icon.
Wish I could say I solved this by opening the settings myself but in the interest of full transparency, I found your post first while googling a solution 😂. I discovered another post from an “unauthorized forum” with the steps.
