mu Face ID not working please help me

This is generally a hardware issue. If the unit's on an OS version older than 17.0.1, you might be able to fix it by updating it from a computer or the Software Update function in Settings; otherwise, contact Apple Support.

iOS 17 caused some users of older phone models to have trouble with Face ID. There are a number of things people have found that helped (reset Face ID, hard reset phone, turn phone off completely wait a full minute before turning back on), but I tried all those, and the only thing that fixed it was installing the Developer Beta of iOS 17.1. **
** but please be aware installing a beta can cause other issues as it’s not fully tested
